Portrait of Woojun Jung
Biography.

I am a graduate student at the DAIS Lab, Korea University, advised by Prof. Susik Yoon. My primary research focus is Representation Learning, Reinforcement Learning, and Human–AI Interaction, with a central interest in building systems that enable effective human–AI collaboration. With a background in both industrial design and computer science, I strive to bridge technical rigor with human-centered design.

Period includes 2 years of military service in
Republic of Korea Air Force (Oct. 2017 – Sep. 2019)
Interests.

I'm drawn to how machines perceive and understand the world and people in it, and communicate that understanding back — questions I've been pursuing through my research. Alongside this, I design and build things: some out of a wish to fix small frictions in daily life, others simply chasing a shape or feeling that seemed worth making. Together, these threads move between understanding machines and making them easier to live with.
